Meet our New Business Development Manager!

Karen is an accomplished professional in the healthcare staffing and senior home care industries. She has more than 25 years of experience in managing, leading, and training teams for success. She is skilled in developing and implementing successful sales and recruiting plans, along with streamlining operational procedures. Some of her greatest strengths include her ability to multitask, excel in crisis mode and lead others to the finish line! Karen’s most recent experience includes having executed the successful sale of 24/7 Idaho Home care. Under her leadership there, she grew the company into 15 corporate office employees, with 2 branch offices and over 400 field employees. She successfully achieved State of Idaho Medicaid Certification in 2009 and maintained zero deficiency audits from 2013 forward. She was directly involved with day-to-day operations and led the company successfully through 8 software conversions which included scheduling, billing, and payroll. In those conversions, she integrated electronic billing through 3rd party vendors to streamline processes and automate claims. She is well versed in her ability to understand the complexities of home care billing, the Medicaid rules that need to be met with documentation and steps to integrate a successful implementation or change. Karen is going to be an asset to the Carehandler team in helping us close deals and find agency owners that are looking for a better EVV & Operational software.
